Hidden amid the pines of the Tuscan countryside, Ceramica ND Dolfi has been producing unique maiolica works of art for nearly 80 years.
The award-winning atelier was founded in 1941 by Giovanni Dolfi, who established its first workshop on a castle in the Tuscan hills overlooking the town of Montelupo. Following on his father’s steps, Silvano Dolfiset to modernise and grow the atelier which produces internationally-acclaimed maiolica pieces.
Now run by Silvano’s daughters, Daria and Natalia, Ceramica ND Dolfi works with master craftspeople to create unique maiolica pottery pieces that revisit the region’s strong ceramic traditions while experimenting with materials and contemporary designs.
